A 64-year-old man suspected of drug trafficking bit the thigh of a Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) officer and spat on two other officers during an arrest in Marsiling on November 3. More than $55,000 worth of drugs were seized during the operation.

The incident occurred during a routine anti-drug operation in the Marsiling area. Officers were conducting a raid when the suspect, identified as a local resident, resisted arrest. He reportedly bit the thigh of one officer and spat on two others. The officers managed to subdue the suspect and secure the drugs.

This is not the first time the CNB has faced resistance during drug raids. Similar incidents have been reported in recent months, often involving individuals who attempt to flee or resist arrest. The CNB has increased its presence in high-risk areas to prevent such incidents. The suspect is currently in custody and will face further legal proceedings.
